As a freelance writer, I offer a wide range of writing services.  A writer's job is to create copy for a specific audience or readership to enable the site or publication to achieve its aims.  The copy is the most important part of a website and  should be given priority over other webdesign elements.  Webcopy varies in nature and requirements, and as a result, so do the services that I offer.

Link Campaigns and Article Writing.  Writing and submitting articles to article submission websites is standard SEO practice.  The art of article submissions is to create copy that is syndicated by other sites which in turn creates additional links for a website and strengthens its web presence.  I have conducted several successful link campaigns, and I am Co-founder of the SEO company, Link-optimise.

Link Campaigns and Press releases. Another standard SEO practice and one that tends to go hand in hand with article submission writing.  The trick here is to create a press release which is both news worthy and conforms to the news agency submission guidelines.  I have created over a 100 press releases of which 98% have been released by news agencies.

Copywriting. If you are looking for interesting copy for your website or publication, then this could well be the service to invest in.   Good copy is essential to communicate with your target audience and is the platform for your website to achieve its aims.  Content is King and dictates the success or failure of a website or company.  Many sites are designed around the copy for this reason.  I start with the audience, discover the right tone, create the content.

Blogging. I have written over 700 blogs for the web and these range from gadgets to dating.  If you have a website that needs regular blogs to attract traffic, or make the website more appealing, then I'm sure I can assist you in some way.  I can even administrate the blog in terms of comments and spam filtering.  I am particularly familiar with WordPress.  To see examples of my work, run a Google search for Richard Teahon and enjoy the read.

Editing and proof reading. A hard and fast rule of proof reading is to read an article out loud, if it makes sense then it is probably well written.  There is more to proof reading than that, and I can help to discover if your copy is error free.

Killer copy. The ultimate writing in attracting visitors to your site via an advertising campaign.  For this service I need to know the product or service, how the copy will be transmitted, i.e email campaign, and then I'll do the rest.

Lyric writing. I have written lyrics to over 19 corporate song lyrics.  Examples available upon request.  I can also offer a service to put the song together.  Contact me with your requirements and we'll work something out.

Short stories. I know not many people want short stories written, but if you want ideas or have an idea you want to develop than I could well be of some use to you.  Plot, theme, character are all elements I feel I am pretty good at bringing together.  Examples of my own short stories can be found on the short story pages in this site.

Scripts.  Again, I can assist with plot, direction, and dialogue.  Take a look at my short story page.

Plays.  Stagecraft is slightly different, but I can assist in direction, dialog and plot.
